founder of Canopy
Coaching & Consulting.
WHO AM I?
I am an executive coach and leadership consultant who focuses on helping executives navigate work, life and transitions in high stress and performance-driven environments.
I spent almost two decades working in the private equity and investment banking industries in London, Hong Kong and Singapore. During my tenure in private equity, I led teams across various functions including investments, portfolio management, risk management, ESG and responsible investment practices, fundraising and investor relations.
My diverse cross-functional experiences has had a significant influence on my leadership approach, which focuses on using informal leadership and working behind the scenes to foster collaboration amongst diverse stakeholders in the ecosystem.
I'm a mother of two teenagers, one of whom has attention deficit hyperactive disorder (ADHD).
FOUNDING OF CANOPY COACHING & CONSULTING
Driven by my interest to help executives gain insights into their leadership styles and navigate work-life complexities, I pivoted to coaching and consulting in 2022.
In my transition to executive coaching, I completed INSEAD’s Executive Masters in Change, coaching programs such as INSEAD Coaching Certificate (ongoing) and Co-Active Training Institute, and courses from National Institute of Organisation Dynamics Australia.
I help executives cultivate effective leadership approaches that are tailored to different stages of their careers. In this journey, I encourage executives to reflect on their leadership effectiveness, career journeys and other life challenges, and guide them to gain a clearer sense of purpose and develop greater resilience in performance-oriented cultures.
The name Canopy was inspired by the tree canopy of the East Coast Park in Singapore where I have spent a lot of time running, walking and reflecting.
